Dear Community,
We have been in the process of executing our plan. Our #1 goal has been to ensure far more minority participation in the fledgling cannabis industry in this state. This is critical for positively impacting Black and Brown communities. Why? Based on health data, we present, in most cases, the highest risk factors to meet chronic conditions requiring treated with legal medical cannabis. Everyone understands the impact this same drug has had over the last 40 years in those same communities! Mississippi Minority Cannabis Alliance has taken a three (3) prong approach to help you to participate in the growth and delivery of that product to the patients in need of its benefits.
Welcome to Mississippi Minority Cannabis Alliance

These major initiatives are: 1) we have partnered with a giant internationally to secure limited FREE training class and FREE certification for those minorities who are not currently employed in the cannabis industry. You must meet the state work permit requirements. There will be a minimal administration fee, and the classes are all online. You will have 90 days to complete the training. Upon completion, you will be qualified to work as a dispensary technician, manufacturing technician, or a cultivation technician. 2) We are bringing an original podcast show to share information about current information changing culture of the industry. We call the “The Green Era Podcast.” 3) Lastly, we will share with you those recommended vendors that we want all minorities to utilize from the vendor list. These will be qualified vendors in your general location. We ask these vendors to have a community spirit, hire minority workers, and serve customers in a professional manner. We ask as customer to consider them as contributors to our communities. Always check our list.
Stay tuned to the changing dynamics that would be impactful to and on the community we serve. If you are not a member of our alliance, you should join. If you are an individual consumer visit our site for updates and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
